BRIEF BIODATA:

YAP Pau Eng, Chairman

Mr. Yap was former director of Singapore National Theatre Trust. The Trust was under the supervision of then the Singapore Ministry of Culture and was the responsible body for all the important performing arts in Singapore.
During his tenure as director, he established close contact with the Chinese arts and culture circle. After leaving the Trust, Mr. Yap started his own manufacturing business in Malaysia and Thailand.
He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from Nanyang University in Singapore.

Dr. CHIU Lin Ban, Deputy Chairman

Dr. Chiu had been a Chinese language teacher for more than 35 years. He was the former head of Chinese department at Tampines Junior College, Singapore. He is an experienced educator. Besides publishing 2 Chinese books, he is also a regular contributor and music critic in local newspapers.
Dr. Chiu obtained his doctorate degree in Chinese history from Xiamen University, China. He obtained his BA degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Nanyang University and MA degree in Chinese Literature from National Taiwan University.


YEO Siak Hwee, Deputy Chairman

Mr. Yeo has been a practising civil engineer since 1979. He is the managing director of Building Structural Inspection Pte Ltd. Currently, his company is involved in the construction of APEC Building in Singapore. The building is a donation from Singapore government to APEC organization.
Mr. Yeo obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering from the University of Singapore.

HUN Chin Guan, CEO

Mr. Hun was the assistant director of Singapore National Theatre Trust and National Arts Council. The Trust and the Council were under the supervision of Singapore Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Information and the Arts. Both organisations were the responsible body for all the important performing arts and the development of local arts in Singapore. He established close contact with the Chinese arts and culture circle when he was working at the Trust and the Council.
Mr. Hun was a student leader and sport man at schools. He is a reservist Captain in the Singapore Armed Forces. He stayed for 5 years in China as businessman and managing director in recreation business in the 1990s, covering most of the provinces in China, especially, Hainan, Hebei, Beijing, Shanghai, Liaoning, Jilin and .Jiangxi. When he returned to Singapore, he set up his own construction company, E-Tong Construction (S) Pte Ltd.
He was awarded a scholarship from the Trust to study a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication and television in the Indiana University, USA.

CHANG Leong Hua, Deputy CEO

Mr. Chang was a former journalist and trade union leader (Deputy President of Singapore National Union of Journalists). He was also a former senior trade analyst at Italian Trade Commission in Singapore. Currently, he is the CEO of Shanghai Guangji Business Consulting Co., Ltd, Chairman of Tianjin Fortuna Textile and Garments Co., Ltd and director of Beijing Lien Hotel and Beijing Super Construction Technology.
He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Nanyang University in Singapore and MBA from Massey University, New Zealand.
